I recently led a dynamic storytelling multimedia workshop for students from 5th grade to seniors in high school in Wellesley. You can learn more about this event and my ongoing projects in the linked article below.

“Art in all its forms documents the human experience, history, time and place. Art marks the passage of time through traditional oral story-tellling, dance, visual and performing arts. This month we invited storyteller Ben Cunningham, pictured above with some of our Middle School students, to perform for the entire school; his visit engaged us and asked us questions, and we relished the experience of being told a story. Students were drawn to Ben’s ability to take personal experiences and interweave creative instruments to learn powerful lessons of connection and kindness.”

United by Chaos:

The Stories That Split Us Before They Stitch Us Back Together (Part 1&2)

This dynamic, two-part storytelling experience uncovers the transformative power of shared narratives. With humor, heart, and profound insights, these real-life stories will take you on a journey through identity, empathy, and the deep connections that shape both our personal and professional lives. Rooted in the core values of diversity, equity, and inclusion, these stories challenge assumptions, spark reflection, and ignite a call to lead with greater purpose and intention. Together, we'll explore how storytelling can fuel meaningful growth - not just as professionals, but as individuals and communities committed to positive change. When we understand each other's stories, our world expands - and so does our capacity to innovate, collaborate, and evolve. We become stronger communities, better leaders, and more compassionate people.

Image & Perception:

This dynamic, interactive workshop blends a one-person performance show with multimedia elements and audience participation to create meaningful connections beyond the traditional storytelling experience. Participants are invited to bring a photograph—on their phone or printed—that tells a personal story. This workshop fosters a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where individuals can build empathy, enhance communication skills, and strengthen community bonds. Through laughter, reflection, and shared stories, participants will explore their identities and experiences, creating a richer understanding of themselves and others. Whether for team-building, classroom engagement, or community connection, this workshop offers a unique and powerful way to inspire connection and creativity.

 The Antiques Roadshow of Storytelling

Objects, possessions, photographs—all hold stories. This interactive workshop uses tangible items from our memories to craft meaningful stories. Participants will have the opportunity to leave legacies, create personal mythologies, share memories, and connect with others. The workshop will incorporate the mechanics of storytelling, performance, and vocal technique, as well as guide you in crafting a story in your own voice, using a left-brain approach to the art of storytelling.
